It is. For a kid like me with military aspirations and a desire to see the world it was an option.

I was thinking, "What if I hadn't walked into that Marine Corps recruiting office when I was seventeen?" I could've been speaking French and riding a camel. FFL would've had a whole different meaning to me.

 

If you've ever listened to any Shawn Ryan podcasts ,, he interviewed a guy that was a Seal , got in trouble, went to the Legion ,, guy had a pretty busy life in his younger years .

 

Too bad he's cursed with carrying that crappy FAMAS rifle.

 

Good time to buy another gun. Actually, anytime is a good time to buy another gun.

 

I've done that. Gotten ammo and reloading dies/supplies for a gun I didn't have. And so, off to the gunshop.....

 

The Coyote hasn't splattered into it yet.
