He is a big boy! We estimate that there are about 100+ hogs on the state property destroying everything!

My area in Texas Southwest is full of hippy Democrats that run the parks. I have challenged our Regional supervisor to a firearm knowledge and who can shoot better. He told me that I packed the experience to go to the course that will allow me to take care of nuisance animals.

I believe three combat tours in Iraq Marine infantry machine gunner being a PMI and having trained law enforcement, military and civilian. Yet I don't have enough experience with a firearm to take out a raccoon! I invaded Iraq and took over Baghdad but I'm not experienced enough to shoot a racoon?

Bring crayons in case it gets complex so you can demonstrate understanding in a pinch.

Whatever you do use a meat thermometer and cook that sob well done, 180-200 F all the way to the bone and a little longer for any bones. Pigs get the same diseases that humans get, and they have worms! So, burn it I don't care how you like it cause this ain't USDA inspected!

No accident that the Bible says not to eat hogs. Cooking over an open fire just doesn't get it done well enough and some hog diseases that humans can get are a very bad way to die. Being eaten alive by worms is not my idea of a good time. Now crispy bacon might be ok, especially with tomato on a good bread, but chewing on a half done pork chop isn't going to make it.

Industrial hog production isn't likely to have the worm larvae that cause trichinosis. Wild game like hogs and bears are at much higher risk. I think If i shot a wild hog, I'd cook it to well done and then cook it some more!
