Goes back to the Romans and the old question of who watches those that are supposed to watch. The problem has never been solved. Sounds like in Anchorage the 2/3 that are pay taxes are also paying for the 1/3 that don't, but then as I understand it you also have ranked choice voting so anything can happen. Seems like some of the results changed when the mail in vote were counted. I hope that they were real ballots from real people who made unassisted choices.
