Global warming, fckin done.

All the state sponsored global warming propaganda only focuses on possible negatives. Won't even entertain the possibility of anything positive coming out of global warming and conveniently ignores all negatives that will come from global warming mitigation.

 

Look at the data. We know the climate has warmed, but 1.5 degrees C is almost nothing.
Whether Man's contributions to CO2 are the reason is still up for debate.

 

Plants benifit from high CO2 levels. Enough that indoor marijuana growers actually supplement the indoor growing rooms with CO2 to increase production

 

The hole in the ozone still there and bigger than ever.


We should just start making our own CFCs and start using them again.
They were making them in like the 1890s so it can't be that hard.

Not all of man, China. The rest of the world is trying to produce less CO2, most of the counties are doing so are smaller than individual US companies The only counties of consequence actually doing it are the US and Canada.
China on the other hand now burns more coal than the rest of the world combined.

 

Yep, the world runs on cheap energy. That's how one moves from poverty to the middle class to upper class.
Can't blame China, India and other third world nations for wanting to not live in poverty.
And along the way they are going to pollute like crazy while we start paying carbon tax that does nothing to revert the issue because other nations with way more people pump way more CO2 into the atmosphere that we did for all of the industrial revolution.
Carbon taxes are just a feel good way for the government and corporations to extract money from the affluent like you and me.
