At my age, I'd take the $70K, I can walk out with it.

 

I've actually used that trick, both in the US Navy and my IT career. It works, but it really helps having a couple voluntary extra duties to back it up.

It said $70k (which is $70,000, or to spell it out for you - Seventy thousand dollars) or $700,000 in pennies (which is $700,000 or to spell it out for you - Seven hundred thousand dollars). It does NOT say 700,000 pennies. That dollar sign in front of the 7 is very important.

$700,000 (in pennies) is still ten times as much as $70k.

 

And a Lifetime NRA member too, on his own dime!

Just don't ever write down the names of civilian contractors who are mishandling asbestos waste at the base landfill. I had supervisors swooping down on me from everywhere. Most with no idea who I was or why I was there. Just that I had a clip board and a pen. There was a definite good ol boy network in place there. Some serious back peddling and backside covering too, before I was done. Good times.

I was probably lucky I wasn't buried with the asbestos waste, never to be found.

 

I've got a different outlook on this fiasco ,,,
They had a system that worked,, good food ,, the company had a following ,,, myself included ,,,
They chose to change it ,, for a lifestyle different from what it always was ,, a good wholesome family establishment ,,,,
Their business changed ,, not me.
So now ,, they want me back ,,,,
Y'all did a complete 180 degree change from the lifestyle that I grew up in ,, to a lifestyle that has become some kind of unwholesome lifestyle,,
Naw,,,, im good,,, I'll go home and eat a balony sandwich,,,
