http://www.infowars.com/?p=1639Most Costco members were only allowed to buy only one bag. One clerk reportedly dropped two sacks back on the stack after taking them from a customer who tried to buy more than the one bag limit.

Shoppers said the limits had been in place for a few days, and that rice supplies had been spotty for a few weeks. A store manager referred questions to officials at Costco headquarters near Seattle, who did not return calls or e-mail messages to the Sun.

We have noticed that since Easter certain things are low at all the stores we go to. Sugar, flour, rice, etc. One thing we really noticed at all stores is that the goods are pulled to the front of the shelf and spread out, there are no back rows. And this is at three different store chains in three different towns (3 walmarts, 4 krogers, and 1 meijers-with the towns being 25 miles apart). I buy extra basics everytime we go now. It is freaking me out. Isn't anyone else seeing this? No one here thinks anything of it.

I'm not paying any attention to this at all. The completely unbiased or political news media have been telling me over and over that "there is NO food shortage!" I see no reason to waste upwards of two hundred dollars on simple basics to ensure my family's survival in the face of such unquestionable assurances.

...and YES, that was sarcasm in case anyone couldn't tell.

Know what you mean. Have been stocking up and going into town tomorrow for more. Lots of protein walking on the property now, so need to stock up on more canned vegies and some protein in case they are not around for a while.

Man I've definitely noticed it down here in the Gulf Coast as well. We've been putting canned goods aside as well, just a little at a time. Everything has me freaked out lately, and maybe it will blow over, but from my tourist driven "sheeple" job (and lack of customers) to noticing the low/lack of certain items at the stores... I believe it may get interesting here in a bit despite what people keep saying.
