I find her utterly disgusting, she makes my skin crawl. Like an alien bug wearing a human skin suit. Edgar in MIB vibes.

 

I had two Social Studies teachers in high school who did that. Both were uberliberals. This was in the early 1970s. Our school system was trying all kinds of new "progressive" ideas. It was a weird time to be a teen.

 

Hehehe... I'd be skinny as a rail.

 

I must've hit the jackpot in junior high and high school. I had mostly male teachers, most of whom had served in the military, one recently returned from Vietnam. I can remember the names of everybody from the principal to the bus driver, but there was one teacher, kinda light in the loafers, who's name I have forgotten. He was the only one I ever felt showed any political leanings. Everybody else was completely neutral as far as we could tell.

 

Walked to Elementary School or road our bikes -no helmets, no knee pads and lived to tell about it

when i dropped out of 10th grade i had been in 11 different schools in 5 states. i couldn't name 2 of them.

 

I walked 1 1/2 mile each day from 6th grade on. Two buses would pass me while walking but my brother and i was accused of something we did not do while on the bus that day. To punish us he put us out and made us walk home. I never road it again, rain, snow etc.

 

Those two I spoke of were a man (Mr. Goldfarb) and a woman.
My Chemistry teacher, Mr. Paul Green, was a vietnam vet and Huey pilot. Drove a neat little TR3 sportscar. He later became principal. He was cool, we all liked him.

 

Her boy friend looked like someone peed in his wheaties last week when the Eagles spanked them,,,,,,,again.
Lost all respect for that looser last year when he was pushing his coach around when things went sideways. Ultimate poor sport.

 

Kindergarten to fourth grade I walked to school every day in Detroit. After we (and everybody we knew) left Detroit in 1970/71 I rode the bus on the longest route in the county. Ninety minutes of each school day I spent riding the bus on gravel roads.
