Lock wire pliers , I have 3 sets , short & long .020-.025 , 030-.035 long

 

Aircraft usually have all safety wired fasteners. The old Continental 1790 V12 in the M60 tank would rattle every bolt and screw loose if they were not safety wired. Every fastener had the wire pulling in the direction of torque, so the fasteners could never come loose. Clean, uniform and consistent safety wire all over the engine was a thing of beauty and point of great pride for us.

I use those wire plyers for tying together rebar on a foundation pour, as well as safety wiring machine work.

 

The Carolina Princess is leaving her port in Morehead City for the last time. Headed to new fishing grounds. Captain Gould is 69, and just can't keep the schedule needed to run the charter.

I always enjoyed fishing on the Carolina Princess.
