Marines will give you a knickname that'll stick with you for the rest of your life. Some of my favorites are "Blue" (short version of Blue Falcon) "Spoda," (Drill Instructor said he was "Spoda be white") and "Jerry" (Because he marched like one of Jerry's kids). Recent ones I can't take credit for include Frodo, Gay Mike, D Block, and Lava Lamp. (Pretty to look at, but not very bright.)
