It's so sad , once again we have the murder of a young women who as so many have relied on 911 to save her when she was violently attacked in her home and ultimately killed . http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,353938,00.html The sheer audacity of the police Chief and the Dane County Public Safety Communications Director when their dispatcher didn't do his/her job is just amazing . I just don't understand why the sheep don't get it , those that they rely on so completely honestly couldn't give a damn about them . The only thing they care about is collecting their paycheck which the sheep gladly pay for and receive nothing in return except an illusion of safety or even service .
I wonder what would happen if this girl was the daughter of a politician or other prominante individual. This chief needs to be fired and the 911 dispatcher charged with criminal neglegence, and yet the sheeple go about their daily business. I also cast doubts on her boyfriend being a suspect due to the fact that she would have told the 911 dispatcher.
The police have no duty to protect any person. They are only required to investigate after the crime. There have been many court cases stating so. That means the 911 dispatcher will get a minor reprimand and things will go on as usual.
Even if you don't wait for them to come to your aid... you still lose valuable time awaiting help. According to police, Bill McMurtrey chased Lisa McMurtrey with his truck as she arrived at the police station in her SUV and then Bill pulled alongside in his pickup truck and opened fire, killing her with a rifle in the parking lot of the West Linn Police Department before fatally shooting himself. From KGW's Sky 8 helicopter, a smashed SUV was visible in the parking lot of the police station, and what appeared to be a covered body was slumped over the steering wheel. Timeus said he saw a sport utility vehicle from his second-story office. He then heard a crash followed by shouting. He then saw that a man had crashed a gray Ford pickup into the SUV and was brandishing a high-powered rifle. Officers heard two shots as they hurried to respond. Lisa Gayle McMurtrey, 51, was found dead at the scene. Newton Bill McMurtrey, 56, initially survived, but was taken to Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital, where he later died. He had been living in Damascus. "We are saddened by this tragic incident," Timeus said. "Though we know our officers could not have changed the outcome of this shooting, we understand she was trying to make it here for her safety, our hearts go out to the victim's family." West Linn Police spokesperson Neil Hennelly said that information was reported after seeing news reports of the shooting. Hennelly reminded that "it is imperative that people call 9-1-1 immediately if they witness suspicious or violent behavior." Neighbors of the woman shot to death by her estranged husband in front of police Tuesday said they knew the couple was separated, but they never thought things would turn so violent.
I don't understand why people have to kill so much. In combat, yes, but in every day life there just is no reasoning behind it. Why kill and throw away your life over something stupid and that can be resolved sometimes over night. I could point fingers to the video games, to the stupid television shows, and movies, but it's like these people (the ones who kill) are just sitting on their brains. They don't think ahead of the action. As to that college girl in Madison, she attended a year of college in the same city I work in...Wausau. She appeared to be an adorable creature and from her friends, was a joy to be around...such a waste.
And so, it seems, someone did call. I guess we can see how much good it did. What a waste of rhetoric, all it did was get another column inch for the reporter.
