My body's "check engine" light has been glowing bright for twenty years.

 

#1 Son can use this meme to describe me. I can't relate it to my father. He worked silently, other than an occasional low growl.

 

it isn't even "citizen" so much as "legally present". I don't think it should even be part of the discussion whether they can become citizens, but they can be permitted entry without adopting them.

 

I can relate. In my late 1970s time in the US Airforce, two of us avionics guys on the tarmac could be heard loudly swearing late at night - midnight shift. Me and "Speedy". Difference was, I only swore, Speedy would swear and throw tools. NOT a good thing on a flightline. He was a big reason we did so many FOD Walks.

 

I remember those days fondly.
