My little coyntry school did not offer any type of shop classes.
When i was 14 i had my dad co-sign a lian at the bank for 15k, this was '67. I went into the cattle biz. By the time i graduated high school 3 years later, i had 93 momma cows with calves, 7 horses, a car and a truck, with permission from the bank that i could write a counter check for up to 100k and come tell them the following day what it was for.

 

How did you avoid the draft in 67. I graduated high school in June 67 and had my draft notice by October 67

 

A 3A deferment.

Had one myself, was working in a GEOEX outfit. Went back to college, and the pricks at the draft board said NO to a student deferment. Rat bastard told me your draft # is 8, and we are up to156.

One day the teacher walks into her classroom and notices that someone has written the word P*NIS in tiny letters on the blackboard. She scans the class looking for a guilty face. Finding none, she erases the obscenity and begins class. The next day, the word P*NIS is written on the board again, this time in bigger letters stretching about halfway across the board. Again, the teacher looks around in vain for the culprit, erases the graffito and proceeds with the day’s lesson. Every morning for nearly a week the trend continues, and each day the word appears in larger letters. Each day she rubs them out vigorously. At the end of the week, the teacher walks in expecting to be greeted yet again by the offending word. Instead, she finds this: “The more you rub it, the bigger it gets.”
