Why hasn't the Insurrection Act been used in Minnesota?

"The Insurrection Act of 1807 is a landmark United States federal law (codified in 10 U.S.C. §§ 251–255) that authorizes the president to deploy the U.S. military—including both active-duty troops and federalized National Guard units—domestically to suppress civil disorder, rebellion, or insurrection.
It serves as the primary statutory exception to the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which generally prohibits the use of federal military forces for civilian law enforcement on U.S. soil."

"The act has been invoked by fifteen Presidents and illegally by one Army general, in response to 30 incidents. Its latest invocation was during the 1992 Los Angeles riots."

Why hasn't the Insurrection Act been invoked to crush this nonsense? Your opinions, please?

Every morning, I wake hoping to see this has been used - yet - every morning I see more and more 5th columnists yelling, spitting and screaming cuss words in the face of officers who have to stand there and take it. WTH is going on? Call it what you will but this is not peaceful protesting, and I am sick to death of it.

this is the end stage of a process started decades ago. marxist have been infiltrating politics for longer. cloward pivin, the great replacement, the dollar is no longer the global reserve currency. undermining our kids education. protesting removing criminals. these are all spokes of the same wheel.as far as why they dont stop it,,,,they dont want to. china is winning. our republic may not survive even with the insurrection act.

In my opinion,,, it would turn into a major protest ,, instigated by the democrats,, on the Republicans. It would start up that " King " thing again .
That act is only able to be used by the democrats.
But I've been wondering pretty much the same thing.

Because the Radicals/Liberals want President Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act, they want armed troops in the streets, they hope that blood will flow and people will die, then they will have a chance of getting the revolution and country they want. I have mentioned it several times, but y'all REALLY need to read "The True Believer". It was required reading in college, back in the late 1970s, otherwise I would never have read it. However, like "1984" and "Animal Farm" you NEVER forget it. In short, the True Believer in ANY and ALL kinds of movements is willing to sacrifice the lives and well-being of their followers and opponents to achieve their goals. The followers are martyrs to the cause, and the opponents are the enemy. The more martyrs and enemy dead the better. That is why you will almost never see the leaders of any movement on the frontlines, why they almost never suffer and die, because they are almost always far from danger.

Their organization and communication structure is years ahead of us. We are independent individuals and they are a cohesive group. Get on Youtube and watch Cam Higby's expose on their use of signal. It's chilling. They will use their strength against our weakness. We will be engaged individually against multiples until we can organize, but they are years ahead of us. It's asymetrical warfare and do not underestimate them.

Just in my opinion ,,, if our Vets decided to make a stand ,, I believe we could form up pretty quick ,, I don't think it would take long to match or exceed their organization. JMO.

@kissmybrass ..."this is the end stage of a process started decades ago."
Fine! So, let's end it - permanently.
"...the dollar is no longer the global reserve currency."
Not true. The dollar is not as strong as it was nor secure due to our national debt; however, it still is the global currency and will be for a while since no other country comes close to the trust level necessary, certainly not China. Many don't want it and many trying to change it but asked any and all financials. It is the global currency. Sure, there are some odds and ends, mostly to insult the US, but the majority of the world still use the dollar for its transactions.

@SB21 "it would turn into a major protest...It would start up that " King " thing again."
I also believe this is the case; however, what else are we supposed to do. There is big money behind these protests, so they are not going to stop. Should we put up with this for 3 more years? We are definitely not gaining ground. Some say, "Well, it shows them in their true light, so it is good for us politically." BS! We can't arrest them fast enough and sure as hell cannot prosecute them fast enough so pull out the big guns. I mean, there is no good choice here, it's the devil alternative, and if you call it was it is, insurrection, and fall back on the Insurrection Act then you have other options available. Let's have the show down for any backing away, and not doing anything is considered a win by them, moves them to more anarchy.

@Wildbilly "Radicals/Liberals want President Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act, they want armed troops in the streets, they hope that blood will flow and people will die, then they will have a chance of getting the revolution and country they want."
Good! To quote an old saying, "We'll put their beliefs to the test." Do it and see if they take the bait then we end this once and for all...it's going to come to blood anyway so we do it while we have a President that will support our nation or we'll have to wait and have it forced on us when the President is a Leftist Commie POS. That will be a hell'va lot more blood. No, I haven't read the '"The True Believer' but look how long we have been fighting radical Islam, so it is not like we don't know the game or this is something new. BTW there is only one way to play that game...as we found out the hard way against radical Islam.

"...in ANY and ALL kinds of movements is willing to sacrifice the lives and well-being of their followers and opponents to achieve their goals..."
They might be willing to martyr their followers, but I would bet the vast majority of those street thugs are not willing to martyr themselves. Furthermore, you can bet the couple that that have been kill, which they didn't think would happen, has given pause to the majority out there. Look, I see these nutcases as insurrectionists, real 5th column type traitors, and if I woke up and saw 30 of them had been gunned down, I would be pumping my fist in the air and shouting "YES!" It is time to take the kid gloves off, they want to play tough guys, be martyrs? Good. We know the game.

@3M-TA3 "Their organization and communication structure is years ahead of us.
We are already organized, the US Army and even law enforcement has the organization, the training and the tools to tear these guys apart and we should! Yes, I seen/heard how they were using Signal. So, they can congregate and respond to a specific point of contest, use it against them. Trap them. I have seen nothing yet done by them that our troops or law enforcement should fear if we allow them to defend themselves.

By not doing anything we encourage more of the same conduct. Even schools think it is now cool to protest with conduct resembling riot. Show them it is not.

Yeah, but this isn't our fight, at least not yet. It is these insurrectionists against the government. These are not protests, they are borderline riots. Now, they charge into churches? WTH is that? They have crossed the line and need to be pushed back hard and unfortunately, they understand nothing but violence, they'll lie to your face and talk sweet while planting an IED...just like radical Islam.

    I think its because;
    1. Trump wants to let the investigations into Tampoon Tim and the Somali Grifters continue until the evidence is so immense it can't be ignored.
    2. The closer we get to the midterms the worse it is for the Left.
Trump's election has definitley accelerated the discovery and finding of evidence against once untouchable people. Look at Gabbard's release of the document calling Obama the originator of Russiagate.

The lack of prosecutions is on Bondi, and I share everyone's anger for that. I want these people hanged, not imprisoned. Just remember the evidence keeps coming, piling up... and she's gonna either have to shit or get off the pot.

The just released 2030 Census Apportionment Forecast Update shows the Left losing 11 delegates... so the likelihood they gain the White House in 2028 is even less than before.

I still have reservations about the Republican Party... but I'm an Independent, more aligned with Washington and Adams regarding parties, and Scalia (RIP) regarding the Constitution...

And I still believe we are already past Rubicon regarding the left. Eventually the balloon will go up.

Just so people are aware, the whole United States Code, along with every other codified colorable "law" didn't exist until after 1933. The thing is, even those who write the history will blatantly lie. Legal Definition of UNITED STATES CODE And apparently, it was somehow relevant in 1926, but wasn't even mentioned until 1932-ish. In reality, the entire system we once had was tossed away and replaced with these colorable laws under the guise of "Statutory", or something along the lines of declarations made by Congress...because apparently we need a dictatorship. The strange thing is, Congress made the POTUS a dictator with Title 12, Section 95b so I really hope no POTUS ever acts upon the powers they have. This could show great wisdom, or ignorance on their part, I suppose.
I should probably be direct. We once had the Common Law, our court cases, the U.S. Constitution, and every State Constitution. Now we have all of these colorable codes, and the reason is because it's Unconstitutional for private banks to conduct business without an Emergency Of War declared by the POTUS to suspend THE CONSTITUTION because it's not lawful to try and do ANY of this under Common Law. And so, FDR had the Trading With the Enemy Act of 1917 (TWEA) amended to INCLUDE every Citizen as a classification for WHO could be regulated, licensed, and punished under the Act. This places every Citizen within the JURISDICTION of the courts operating under Admiralty Law, or "Statutory" law with CONGRESS making the law. This really isn't confusing, but to learn more, just search these forums for my thread and .pdf research on the EWP. Essentially, they required their own way to operate with this currency, and these codified "laws" were adopted. It's all along the same lines as Admiralty Law, British rule where our founders all fought to escape. And what they didn't win through war, they acquired with time and economics. That's how we lost our country.

Yes, it's all connected. That's how you take over a country and its people, you always start with the money.

The flagrant disregard for the Constitution may very well be common, but it still isn't justified.

The folks on the street are the grunts, and those that will sacrifice them are far, far away. Hell, they might even order the slaughter of their own followers in order to create martyrs. Several years back, an anti-ICE protester in the PNW was outside an ICE detention center firing a rifle at a large propane tank. He was apparently trying to blow-up the tank and destroy the detention center, thereby killing the ICE agents and illegal aliens inside. The ICE agents would be the enemy, and the Illegal aliens would be the martyrs. Nobody asked the illegal aliens if they wanted to be martyrs, that decision was made for them. Luckily, the local police shot and killed the guy and only one martyr was created that day. You REALLY need to read the book!

I agree with you for the most part ,,,and I mean no disrespect in any way ,, but I do believe it is our fight ,,, just as much or more ,, as it is the government's.
Because,, if any one of us stands against anyone , or anything the left wingnuts deem a threat ,, they'll turn on us just as quick , or quicker , as they do the police , etc.
I say ,, probably quicker ,, because we're not a threat of carrying their asses to jail.
We stand back and let the cops deal with it ,,, because if we get involved,, the cops ,, by law ,, will take us to jail just as quick as them . The cops are limited on their actions in dealing with these idiots ,,,, they have a " code of conduct " that they are supposed to follow.
We don't have that code ,,,,our code would be ,,, survive .
I could be wrong,,, I've never been ,, always correct ,,, and I could be all by myself out on this limb ,, but that's what I think about this situation. And to be honest ,, I'd love to see the cops step back for a week or so , to let us sort this out .

No, in that regard, you are correct and I do see where you are coming from; however, consider this, if indeed the Right would be allowed to stop this insanity - well - it would have been over loooong ago, except for the crying, their crying. The fact is, we are not allowed to get into this fight or, as you said, they 'will take us to jail just as quick as them"...which I would add is not quick to please me. This is why I said, 'this isn't our fight, at least not yet.' It may come to that but hasn't.

The Left has used and continue to try and use our own government against us. Control the government and you control the laws, the nation, and its people. Now, the Left is revolting against our nation's laws and the government enforcing those laws. Should they survive, and it looks like they will as we are handling them with kid gloves, the next time they hold power they will unleash upon people like you, me and those like us then it will definitely be our fight, and it will be an uphill battle because they will be the government. My point in this tirade is currently we hold the government, the legal and the moral high ground. Now, is the time to fight them because they will only get stronger - yet - it seems Trump doesn't seem to want to use the Insurrection Act and I cannot for the life of me figure out why and in truth, I fear the worse. At the very least, I fear this will come back to bite us, all of us.

@Steverino "Trump wants to let the investigations into Tampoon Tim and the Somali Grifters continue until the evidence is so immense it can't be ignored."
I suppose that might be a small reason but...Timmy is small fish in this pond; however, we won't get the big one's like Obama or Biden nor their puppet masters. And, that money the Somali's got is G-O-N-E. LOL!

"The closer we get to the midterms the worse it is for the Left."
Now, this makes a ton of sense and has heavy strategic importance... A lot is riding on the mid-terms; the recovery of the nation is but one major thing in a long laundry list of important items. I didn't consider this to be honest and I should have...but letting this ride also has the opposite effect too as people wonder why in the hell have they not stopped this. Nevertheless, I do see your point. The guy at the voting booth might be pissed that no action has been taken but he would rather have the devil he knows than the radical democrats.

"The lack of prosecutions is on Bondi..."
I think Bondi gets a bad rap. She can only do what is legal and these crooks are expert in covering their tracks.

"I still have reservations about the Republican Party... but I'm an Independent..."
Oh, I do too. I am a registered Republican because I am too damn lazy (and busy) to go through the crap to reregister as an Independent but that is what I am. I play no party. In fact, I would say the Republican party is only slightly better than the Democratic party because they do have a few decent people in it. Frankly, I think Trump is not a true Republican. He used it as a platform to get elected and is changing the entire party, hopefully to something better...but that yet to be seen. Will know the first year Trump departs.

He will be called a dictator. Of course, that's nothing new, so I'm right there with you. We don't know what's being spoken about behind closed doors, but I can imagine there's quite a bit of worrying about popularity and polls and whatnot. Then there's a reason pertaining to using this "crisis" to their advantage, and making this event spill over nationwide. We can speculate rather wildly at this point, but we should consider the possibility that there's more than just Trump making decisions.

If you would have ask me this a month ago, I would have agreed. Now, no. As a dictator, Trump could sweep a lot of this away in a week. However, let's be honest, even as a dictator that doesn't mean anyone would listen to him more than they do now, specifically the military and it's the military that is important, not these non-representing representatives. The "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun" sort of thing...

EDIT: You know, Rome use to elect a dictator for a length of time during a crisis because they knew they would have to act fast and their Senate was as least as bad as ours. Sometimes it didn't turn out so good...Sula comes to mind. It would be nice to see some of those tough sounding radical leftists standing next to a wall crapping all over themselves though. LOL!

"That's how you take over a country and its people, you always start with the money."
They've had it for years to the tune of $38T in debt plus taxation that take probably 50% of our income when all is totaled so their control is still not yet complete but - FEAR NOT - digital currency is coming to us soon. Whether we like it or not and that is when we can all blow a big sigh and say, "GAME OVER." My guess is we'll see the start of it before Trump leaves office or at the beginning of the next presidency.

Yup. I remember talking to BTPost in Discord more than a few years back...he brought up the election and I mentioned how it would be good to see Trump in office, but people ought to be careful because the powerful players are not on our television, they operate behind the scenes and we can just as easily have a tyrannical society with Trump as we would with Miss Prostitute. He was rather interested, but I didn't choose to elaborate at the time. One way or another, we will lose all of this.
