Why hasn't the Insurrection Act been used in Minnesota?

Yes, I have followed the SO crowd for years and have watched the layman level video. I need to watch the sciency one the came after it.

Most POTUS have invoked the Insurrection Act at one time or another, from George Washington onward, and in almost every case it was short-lived and successful, except once. Abraham Lincoln invoked the Insurrection Act and called for 75,000 troops to restore order in the South. Four years later, with an Army of 2,000,000 men and a Fleet of 600 warships, they succeed in restoring "order" in the South. It only cost the North 300,000 dead and a like number crippled, but their economy boomed. The South lost 250,000 killed and that many more crippled, and our economy was destroyed. Be careful what you wish for, you might get it. I'm a Southerner and we have been hankering for a rematch for 161 years, so come what may I'm ready.

It doesn't matter WB, it is coming because there is no other solution to this mess, no matter how 'hard we vote' (I stole that line from @kissmybrass LOL!). My point is let's allow it, even push it to happen when we hold the high ground. Furthermore, if that what it takes to save the nation then so be it. Yeah, that is where I am at this point. There was no other solution before in 1861, and we are at the point again. We really should be asking the question why that is the case... So, that is my position, push them right to the wall, make them bend the knee or else and when they don't then eliminate the problem. Sounds insane? No more than what they are doing. All I want is for them to follow the laws of the nation and if they won't then so be it, suffer the consequences...just like you or me would have to if the roles were reversed. BTW they will be when next the Leftist get power if we do not solve the problem now. Bet on it. Don't believe me, look what they did or tried to do to the January 6th folks. Next time they will put them up against a wall and execute them.

 

Minneapolis is out of control because the State from Wals on down is allowing it. He/they need it as a smoke screen to distract from the government funding scandals, and I'd put money on it that palms are getting greased all the way to Walz as well as police.

I agree and I hope they will invoke the Insurrection Act and rip the place apart jailing anyone that had a part in this and set a precedent, so others think twice about undermining the nation in the future.

 

Oh, it certainly appears that the CCP is involved. Look at all the trips Waltz took to China. Look at this traitorous expat sending funds from Shanghai. Of course, the CCP wants this chaos in the USA which is a solid motive. All adds up and leads to the front door of the Democratic Party. I honestly believe that Trump is handling this wrong...unless he is doing some long game which he is so good at and very possibly, like @Steverino suggested, they want to use this to boost mid-term elections so they are allowing it to go on.

 

Trumps "trump-card" .. is pulling all federal funding... I bet he does this before invoking the Sedition Act...

 

I hope you are 110% correct here ,,, and I hope every bit of corruption,, and the perpetrators are fully unmasked,,, and a televised series of corrupted handcuffed politicians are marched into a federal prison to await a public trial .
If there's no repercussions,, there's no deterrent for further corruption.

 

Well, they damn well got my vote for it. Once it starts, I hope to hell we sweep up not only the commie Dems but many Republicans too.
