God bless you Sir ,,
My grandfather left Pearl Harbor in 1939 ,,, he was Army ,,, my grandfather was a big impression on my life , I spent most of the summers I can remember,, at his house . Working the garden ,, rowing the hills ,,shelling the beans ,, etc,,,,
Mr Duane ,, you have my utmost respect ,,,your era was a tough life ,, one of the founding eras of our time ,, but I think I may have been raised in the 1st phase of the entitled,, spoiled generations. But I was lucky enough that I enjoyed being in the woods ,, fetching squirrels and rabbits ,, and perch and catfish from the rivers ,, and my grandparents taught me them traits . My friends back home during school years didn't have a clue how to hunt , fish, clean a squirrel,, rabbit ,, much less catch , or shoot one.
One of the best things my parents ever did for me ,,, was let me go to my grandparents home for the summers . Being confined to a big city for life would have ruined me.
