I remember those and wore out a few. I suppose that before they came alone you had to enter all of the information by hand, but these were around when we started taking credit cards. At one time, back in the 1980s, we didn't take credit cards because not many people had them, you had to call for authorization (on a landline phone), and each sell cost us money. We finally started taking cards because so many people had them, but they were still a pain. Once a week we mailed them in to the credit card companies, and it took weeks to get your money. Had to keep track of them incase some got lost in the mail and you had to re-summit. Finally, they developed electronic card machines that sped things up greatly, but we kept these under the counter for years, as back-up.

Can I ask another question?” “Of course, my son,” said the priest. The old man asked, “Do I need to tell her that the war is over?”.
