Does anyone else think this... creature... resembles a certain deceased Austrian paper hanger with delusions of world domination?

 

Or maybe white plastic is just cheaper and more available. Or, the techs don't think robots that look like a Darth Vader/Terminator mash-up will sell very well.

 

I thought that nose ring might be a barrel band for a French Berthier carbine, but it's too thin. Maybe a dried piece of skin that was snipped off the end of something. (That's as graphic as I'll get, but you'll see it now.)
