They, like their European cousins, love to crow about their "free healthcare", but they never seem to realise their extremely high taxes are paying for it, and the extremely long wait times for procedures, and lack of many tests and procedures we consider normal. Many times they wait so long, the illness or injury has resolved itself (either by self-healing or patient's death) before they can get in to receive treatment. That's not healthcare, that is mismanagement.

 

I'm old enough to have seen this in the wild. Nobody steals mystery meat in the can....
