I've seen beggars in good locations roll bills onto a roll more than six inches on diameter. In West Virginia the choice exits are probably multi generational.

This is my thing. I see a guy on a narrow median strip or an off ramp, on his feet all day long, holding a sign. That dude doesn't need my help, he needs a job.

The homeless who are sitting alone, away from the traffic, exhausted from just staying alive. They may need help. They may also want to fight. In my experience, most are exactly where they want to be.

The rest are able bodied beggars taking home more money every day than I am.

New Horizons
probe is the first and only spacecraft to visit Pluto, completing a historic flyby on July 14, 2015. Launched in 2006, it traveled over 9 years to capture high-resolution images, revealing a dynamic world with nitrogen ice glaciers, towering mountains, and a "heart-shaped" region, now known as Tombaugh Regio.

Only nine years and we get some real return on the investment. And NH is still exploring the Kuiper Belt, still working. Which cannot be said for the California Train To Nowhere.

New Horizons was launched just after they demoted Pluto, and scientists said that exploring it was a waste of money. However, they had already built the probe and everything, so they had to go ahead with it. Turns out Pluto is one of the most interesting planets in the Solar System, not the dark hunk of rock and ice they thought. The planets, with the exception of Eart and Mars, are not very interesting. What's really interesting are the moons.

 

I am really looking forwards, though I'll be gone before they get there, of a good close-up examination of Enceladus, the sea-water spewing moon of Saturn. If nonEarth life is to be found anywhere, it will be there.
