I used to be able to smell rain, so long ago.

 

Being an old Native Floridian, I grew up catching and eating catfish and mullet. Nothing better for a family fishfry.
Once I stupidly bought a package of something labeled "mullet" in my local grocery store. The label said it came from Vietnam. It had a multitude of bones where no true mullet has bones, and the skin was all wrong. It was literally inedible. I threw the entire package away. I don't know what kind of fish it was, but I know what wasn't - mullet!

 

I remember those days too.
