Most cases from around here where Marines encountered carjackers, home invaders and purse snatchers have not ended well for the bad guys.
One that was especially memorable was a guy from Second Force Recon Co who got in a bar fight at a tiny little bar on Rocky Run Road. It's a lawn mower repair place now, but every time drive past I can see this guy's face. He'd been cut with a beer bottle and one side of his face was split open from his eye to his chin. The Marine then proceeded to beat up the guy that cut him, and then sat on him, bleeding all over him, and held him at gunpoint in the dirt parking lot until the police arrived.
