I had them in the 60s,,

 

I never had the Erector Set, but did have a big chemistry set (with the chemicals banned today) and a large electronic set that could make a hundred different projects. Once I built the AM radio set, but in a Tim Taylor moment, said "Mo' Power!". So I used a 9volt battery instead of the single AA, and used my steel mesh bedroom window screen as the antenna. I jammed my parents' TV during their favorite show.
I figure that's what led to my ten years in military electronics.

 

They allow those who failed elementary school English into college?

 

Nope.

 

I noticed that some of my cards would no longer work on these. No raised numbers.
