Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Reminded me of the M880's we ended up with in the late 1970's as part of a government bailout of Dodge. Guys that remembered civilian Dodge performance were in for a huge let down with the M880.

I have no good memories of the vehicle at all. We were down to just three gas engine vehicles then. (M151 "jeep", M274 "mule" and M880) Mogas was all we had, and it was about the same octane as Coleman Fuel. They put troop seats in the bed and found out the bolts would rip through the bed floor on corners, so big plates had to be installed in the bed. I think I'd put a pull start M274 up against an M880 in a drag race. They were slugs. They looked worn out when they were brand new.

 

There was a structure like this in Mankato Mn. But was 16 trailers 4 to a level, 4 high.
Tornado towers was the name.

 

That 80° in Sunny Florida is a beaootiful Spring day. We are now getting high 90s, perfectly typical for July. I've seen worse in prior years. I've seen better too.

 

Are they talking about Summer?

 

Makes a cool sound too. I guess it depends on the wall though.
