Not everyone has a Cell Phone - I only recently got mine, and directly due to a MC breakdown near FSU campus - I could NOT find a pay phone ANYWHERE!! None of the college kids would help an old rider out, and it was early before most offices were open. Luckily another rider stopped to check on me, and he was a bro from work. He notified my buddy to come help. Now, I am packin'! A Cell phone that is.
Unfortunately here in Phoenix, they were a "target" of some rather shall we say "scumbags"? They would literally pry them out of the walls, instead of 'popping' the lock boxes out. So then, they would strip them and sell the aluminum frames for the metal. Now, isn't there some law against some scumbag, buyng metal that they know where it came from, much less from another scumbag? Bill
