found this in a comment cruising Alex jones material: BREAKING NEWS!! Just got a call from a private source, but 99% credible. Eight days ago (news was held up while source was in the field), the National Guard Armory in Pocatello, Idaho was seized by the U.S. regular Army and stripped of all weaponry. Everything from long range cannon to small arms. These guys are the 148th Field Artillery Battalion They stripped it of all weaponry and ammo. The CO asked “Why?” and was told “There’s gonna be a party this winter and you’re not invited!” He was led to believe that this was a national happening, not just that armory. I’ve called 5 other NG bases, but (for some odd reason) have received NO answer. Any of you that have the ability (or strings) get on the phone and see if there’s verification from any of your sources. I have a friend high up in the KS guard. He's in Armenia right now but I will send him an e-mail and see what he says or knows.
He's going to be back here at the end of the week. He said he would do a little digging for me. If I find that there's any truth to this or if it's BS I'll post what he says.
I tried, but was unable to speak to anyone here in the Phoenix area, seems their offices are closed for now. Bill
It's a federal holiday, of course they are closed. ('Course, I checked my mailbox 3 times before I figured that out.)
That's just one of the parts I don't quite get..... I get the federal holiday, ok. No schools, no mail, no banks, etc., etc. But why was the stock market open? I remember not very long ago somone opened the stock market on a sunday too! Now is it just me or....? What the heck is happening? I need to get out more I suppose! But, here at the "home", they don't want us roaming the grounds! Bill
With the rate that NG units are being deployed overseas, this seams to be a stretch of the imagination. I'm in no way saying this is imposible, but what if this Guard unit recieves their Mob alert to deploy overseas. What are they supposed to take over with them, rubber band shooters? Something just doesn"t seem right with this.
You'd think the Governor would have something to say about losing all his equipment to the feds. This sounds a little far fetched just from a too much "drama" standpoint; real life is seldom as dramatic as a pulp survivalist paperback, this is a big obvious step.
Not necessarily so; Idaho is a little more independent than most States and prone to responding to any incursion with a bit more directness than most.
Yes, this alarming but I would no think it impossible at all. If this is true, get ready for the SHTF!
I'm was just thinking we could all start asking our local media to check up on our guard units. What your guys take on this idea?
It is not uncommon for the RA to pick a unit that is not going anywhere for a while and clean out the supply rooms. In several weeks, all new equipment will arrive. The RA went to a centralized supply setup several years ago(they know where EVERYTHING is) and when they need something, they just come and get it. I would not lose any sleep over it.
