Ok my local gun shop has one of these for $195. It has a holster and an extra mag but the grips are beat to hell and one of them is missing the top 1/3. I don't know much about this gun but it looks unique, it's old and it's cheep. Just the way I like them.

Is it a good deal or not?

Here is what one looks like and a little info on it.

Not enough info. Bore condition? Matching numbers? Finish? Spring condition? And so forth. Have you checked Fjested? the busted grip might be replaceable, might not; I'd check and see if you can even locate one before plunking down the cash.

Personally ,for that amount of money, I'd go with something with a lot heavier caliber, or at least newer...
Say the Tokarev, or CZ-52 models.
    UNLESS you are a collector.

Ya with the exception of my 20Ga and my .357 I only buy guns that were made before the fall of the USSR. The older and weirder looking the better. Just as long as I can still shoot them.

For the price you quoted for the Dreyse, you can cross out at least one couple items on your wish list in short order. The M44 (and a 91 to go with it) and some milsurp Bulgarian won't run you $195. :D

    I already have a 91/30 tula and over 1000 silver tip 7.62x54r . :D that's my SHTF rifle.

Me, I'd be all over that little M1907! But then, I like the weird and funky guns..... [rofllmao]
And I follow the same rule - I have to be able to shoot it! No 'Safe Queens'!

It probably wouldn't be hard to make a set of grip panels - looks like a simple design. Depends on how they attach to the pistol.
