From where I live even if a cop was at the bottom of my road on the blacktop, they might make it to the house in 10 minutes. With the snow that we have now they might not even get here. Pretty much on my own if anything happens. Shots fired 911 call with ideal conditions could get city cops here in 15 minutes??? Since I moved to Oregon I have always lived in places where I knew I was on my own.
Reminds me of the old man who called 911 "911 what is your emergency?" I need the police out here quick there's 5 teenagers tearing up my shed. I'm sorry sir all our units are tied up at the moment and can't get there for 30minutes go inside and lock your doors...guy hangs up calls back in5minutes: I called earlier Don't worry about them burglars I took ol' betsy my side by side and kilt'em all... In 10minutes the place is swarming with deputies and ambulances. Cops look around no sign of afight. deputy says" I thought you killed those boys?" Yeah and I thought you couldn't git here in less'en 30minutes..."
I carry a gun because I hate my mother and have a tiny weiner. Dog tells me that I'll get even with you all one day.
