If you intend on doing this, you will need to do your homework as I have tried it before. You will need to find the current price of scrap yellow brass, and that should be your starting bid. The guys that buy this stuff will determine the scrap price, subtract out the transport fees, determine what they need for profit, and that is what they bid. I bid on a lot of 5,000 lbs of 7.62 brass and was was outbid at $14,000. P.S. Oh ya, and that is if the reloading companies are not bidding on the stuff. These guys watch this stuff continuously and have never seen someone "get away" with a steal.
