barry and the UN leaders are acting like they got their frilly panties in a bunch. They are vowing to 'do something' to show their displeaure - I guess this means yet another UN resolution.
And the little NK dude with the bad hair will do what he always does - thumb his nose at them and laugh! Reckon he uses all those letters from the Useless Nations as TP...? [rofllmao]

So NK pops off their glorified bottle rocket..... big deal. They know if they drop a nuke on ANYBODY they get it a hundred-fold in response. Even the funny little dude ain't THAT crazy....... ?

If only that were true. But concern for the non-combatant population would surely make for measured, surgical strikes that would miss.

So far as his bottle rocket goes, he violated Japanese air space with it. Surprised it wasn't shot down by us at Jap request. (I'm not at all sure we could reach it from Vandenburg, I don't think the ABM has been deployed shipboard.)

I don't think we dare deny him the right to shoot, but we can enforce existing international treaties. I think. At least if zero has the stones, we can.

Both the US Navy and Japan had ships out there, armed with the SM2 missile that could at least knock down larger pieces that are falling on Japan - that I think was the idea. Whether it would work...?
Forget Phalanx or CIWS - they are short-range 'last-ditch' defense for the ship only.
At least the NK's got the thing out over the open ocean before it dropped - killed a few pellagic fish maybe. Sushi, anyone?

The funny thing is the NK leadership telling their own people that the thing is up in space, wistfully beaming songs praising the Beloved Leader back to his adoring masses...... [rofllmao]

They don't care at all, as long as zero caves in, signs a peace treaty and sends the entire farm and industrial output of the US to DPRK for free and at our expense so the little guy with the funny haircut can elevate the population to a standard of living that exceeds ours. And incidentally make him wealthy.

What I was vaguely tring to imply was "wistfully beaming songs praising the Beloved Leader back to his adoring masses...)
    Doh'bama was "beloved leader"
So the nk's were beaming "songs of praise,"
Just too much a twisted stretch for a lousy play on a post...(didn't work,)
