I predict sweeping Gun Control laws in the next 12 months.

We had 2 school shootings this week on top of 2 or 3 more 'postal' situations in public. It took much less than this to bring in AWB of '94. Look for it at a .gov near you. It's for the Children.

Especially this close to elections. Time to stock up on the mags and ammo.

I don't think so. Many politicians lost their jobs over the AWB and I don't think they'll do it again. CA being CA will pass all kinds of stuff but nationally, I just don't think it'll happen.

I think a lot of bills will get introduced, but it's just the Dems trying to fire up their core.

It's going to happen at a state level first.

Watch Pennsylvania closely. The Pittsburgh & Philadelphia pressure is on the state legislature to eliminate state pre-emption of local gun laws. The state may finally cave on this as the politics of the state overall shift to the left.

I agree wholeheartedly, but I am afraid that a lot of the public is just going to punch "democrat" on their ballot because they are fed up with the republicans. In regards to gun control once they have the votes it doesn't matter what the people want, at least not until the next election.

We'll register our guns, quit putting evil flash-hiders on them, install magazine blocks, and whatever else they order us to do, just like we did during the assault weapons ban. We'll bitch about it on bulletin boards, and some of us will hide evil features in closets, and bury treasured items, just like we did during the assualt weapons ban. In the end, we'll just do whatever they tell us because the american people have become law-abiding subjects. We'll join gun clubs and eventually they store our allowed weapons for us. They will probably even put some data on the magnetic strip of our national I.D. cards stating that we are authorized to own sporting weapons and maybe even to carry a concealed handgun and we'll think how much luckier we are than most. Maybe they'll just impose a big tax so we can't afford to own firearms, like they did in 1934. I truly don't care any more. I am just going to break their stupid laws and if they catch me, pay the fine or go to jail. I am through with allowing the vocal minority to boss me around. I am a productive member of our society and pay more taxes than most and if they want to take that out of the picture so be it.

I have to say that everytime I hear of a shooting I think crap that will be used against us, and not for the people hurt of killed.

I just filled out my paper to make sure I was registered to vote here in CA and I did not choose Demo or Repub. I will be voting under the Libertarian Party. I will not give my vote away. I have it on good sources that Mickey Mouse is a shoo-in. :D

That was exactly what I thought when I heard. I think we're going to see some new laws and curtailments. Things are going downhill faster now.

Was watching CommieNewsNetwork yesterday for info on the Amish shooting.....they had a chart that pointed out how many school related shootings had occured just since August around the country.

    25

Yikes....many society IS getting more nutzo.......

I know one thing.....if I were a school principal, I'd have a firearm in my office , well hidden, but easily availiable and state law be damned.

Something really big is looming just over the horizon that will seal the deal and we'll all be paying the price. Some nut with a sniper rifle (read: has a scope) will take out a prominant public icon and rally the "for your own protection" crowd to insure our domestic safety. It is so transparently odvious, the only question being when?

I can tell you have one of those feelings that we all get now and then. About half of those that hit me come true, precience is not a nice gift. But if what you see comes about, I guess we can hope it's one of the lesser lights. Say Hillary or Diane or Nancy (and I don't mean Reagan.)

My time frame for seeing a big over-correction is stepping up daily.
Those who see the new Enemy Combatant legislation as 'only for ragheads' will feel the slap the hardest. I'm prepped for it like I just lost the brakes on my rig at the top of the hill.

And, I think I may have a brain tumor :(

And, I think I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue

But, We can't really talk about anything real anymore anyway.

That's one of the biggest shames of all; how everybody seems to be circling the wagons. Everybody is afraid to touch certain topics and PC is getting ludicrous. Don't want to stay on that watch list. Will encryption work with cell phone SMs? They should be comming to change the batteries in my chip soon.

I would hope they wouldn't make a new batch of laws but seems consistant with BS they legislate.

Nice hope but that won't happen. Current law makers both republican and democrats get paid to make laws.. and they are damn good at it. Now if you'll excuse me I have to get the wagon in the circle. Remember just cause your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.
    Take care Be safe Poacher.
