Starting a fire the way George Washington did including making char cloth

I punch holes in the top of an empty Altoids tin, place my pillow ticking cut to size into it and set it in my camp fire. Sweet video of how to hold the flints and char cloth, not to take away from how to build a nest to propagate a fire from the ember captured in the char cloth. Thanks @3M-TA3!!

Tin cans with lids always work well! Certain woods work better for making char, but generally anything is better then nothing! LOL
Experiment with the woods and other materials to find what works best for you in your A.O!
