In a way, this approaches tin foil hat material. Since the link covers some facts on the current status of Section 1021 of the NDAA, it makes sense to read it. The argument is real, the quoted section is editorial.
Not yet, the legal discussion in the link has facts rather than speculation. Works for me. If it was strictly unsupported speculation and grey sky thinking, it would already be moved.
I guess Obama forgot about signing the NDAA... If it's good for the goose.. Then it's good for the Goose-In-Chief... http://gunowners.org/oped081612.htm
UPDATE: Hedges wins........Judge Permanently Blocks NDAA's Military Detention Provision http://www.zerohedge.com/news/us-to...ently-blocks-ndaas-military-detention-provisi ...and of course, the Kenyan appeals: http://www.prisonplanet.com/obama-a...ndefinite-detention-of-american-citizens.html
UPDATE: Appeal worked; back to fascism. What happened to "permanently" above? http://rt.com/usa/news/obama-lohier-ndaa-stay-414/
THEY can ALWAYS find a Bleeding Heart Federal Appeals Judge, to do whatever THEY want.... but the three Judge Appeals Panel that will actually Hear the Appellate Case, will decide, the case, on the LAW.
From the article linked to in post #10: The stay will remain in effect until at least September 28, when a three-judge appeals court panel is expected to begin addressing the issue. Has anyone heard any updates on this yet?
