No, but it looks and sounds like it would be close to the Blow Off Gun Cleaner which is decent stuff.

If your looking for a top shelf oil for your guns I can atest to Corrosion-X. I got some a while back after trying everything else on the shotgun I keep in my truck, I had tried several oils, car wax, everything I could think of and it still kept getting rust on it, treated it with corrosion-X about the time the board opened up and maybe once since and have had absolutely no problems since.

[ditto] Corrosion-X is great stuff. I wish I knew about it earlier.

Yea I know about Corrosion-X, But i have used Gunslick paste with the polish compound in it for frame to slide finishing, was wondering if the lube was as good.
Corrosion-X dealers want too much for their stuff for me.

You can get it from boat dealers alot cheaper. Same stuff just marked up for firearms sales.

Thanks for the tip. I agree with Quig on the price of Corrosion-X. [winkthumb]

I dont know, for me it has been worth it. IIRC I gave about $8 or $10 delivered for a bottle and useing it every time I clean a gun as well as on blades I still have about 1/3-1/4 of the bottle after more than 6 months. :dunno:

No doubt it works fine; I would be using a lot of it. How big of a bottle does that 8-10$ get you?

Agreed the stuff is worth it and works great, no doubt and I'm convinced. While hunting this last Elk season on the Oregon coast, the slide on my Sig 220 rusted a lot. The only thing that has kept the rust at bay has been Corrossion-X. I just can't afford to use it all the time but will always keep some Corrossion-X around. [winkthumb]

The one I got was a 4 oz bottle with a spout rather than the spray type. Heres the email for the guy I got it from kd5day_1@yahoo.com I came across him on that other board and IIRC he also posted in the tradeing post here that he will offer the discounts here as well and I had good dealings with him on it.

I would say I average 1-2 guns a week at least that I clean and oild and since I got it that is what I have used on all of them. Shortly after I got it I also went through and coated all the firearms in the house with it, so it dose go a long ways if its not in spray form.
