If one were to want to bury say, a pistol and ammo what would be the proper way to ensure its not a pile of rust if ever needed ? I was thinking vacuum seal the items, like in a food vacuum packaging system...along with a desecant pack, then placing those "packages" in another air tight rubber or pvc container before burying ??? Thoughts ?
