I thought I would share this. Hundreds of hero's that get no recognition for their heroism and do not expect any. God bless those that serve, and God speed getting home safe my brothers and sisters. Thank you for your service. http://www.nragive.com/ringoffreedom...9_landing.html
Re: Hundreds of hero's that get no recognition for their her Yep. Our best don't look for, don't really want, and surely don't expect pats on the back for doing what they volunteered to do. At least not individually. Collectively, I'm sure they appreciate the recognition, but have no wish to parade for it, either. At the end of the day, it's enough for each of them to know they did what was right. The payoff is self satisfaction, not medals. I take a bit of pride in our guys that went to the desert, there are no better on the planet. Even the fobbits have a place.
Re: Hundreds of hero's that get no recognition for their her I am so thankful for those who have, those who do, and those who will, serve our country. You have my respect and gratitude.
Re: Hundreds of hero's that get no recognition for their her My cousin has done two tours in Iraq and is about to be shipped off to Afghanistan. After hearing all the stories of what he has been through and seen, I now have a new found respect for those who serve our country.
