Guess who won't be getting many votes in the next election, while they pose a problem, the biggest problem comes from the East €uropean or any other foreigner that has just arrived in the UK., who are able to claim ($'s) for everything, including money for their wife and 200 siblings back in Poland for example.

At the age of 16 I joined the Junior Leaders Regiment, and enjoyed every minute of it, mainly because I wanted to be there doing just that, Amnesty international. will love this if they do get it together, which I seriously doubt.

I was always a Conservative party voter, guess I'll have to adapt to the times and save my vote until a party comes along that is worth voting for, as voting for the lesser evil won't get you anywhere especially when the collectively go the coalition way, as they did here in Germany.

Able-bodied working-aged persons shouldn't be allowed to get handouts.

I thought we had programs (not encampments) similar to this already in place. Here, you can't get unemployment compensation without showing evidence that you're seeking further employment. You also can't get (well, aren't supposed to get) food stamps or welfare if you aren't actively seeking employment or furthering your education to make yourself marketable and providing written proof to the agencies.

I agree, if you are healthy you should be working. Military needs able bodies.

Anyone able bodied should be in full-time employment, no ifs or buts!
But my fear is this is a deffinate BLACK PROJECT in the making..imo

    Taken from the report:
"Those who were still unemployed after a year would work full time on a 12-month community service programme."
What are they now making being unemployed a "criminal offence"?
For those that do not know ...a community service programme, is also the same C.S.P that a criminal would get if found guilty of an offence, sometimes minor, sometimes worse (if they feel the guilty are not going to be a menace to society) "blue-collar crime for instance?

The easy way to stop the Britain on Benifits culture that has swamped this country is to, train the unemployed as Doctors & Nurses, Firemen / women, put them in the Forces or Services, jobs that are actually going to help this country, that way we wouldnt have to employ so many "outsiders" to do these types of jobs!!!
Then the money would stay within the UK and in turn be spent in the UK that way the economy would start to flourish again, instead the money being made in the UK is being sent out of the country to every corner of the globe!

    CURRENTLY AT DEFCON 5:
    INSIDE THE OCCUPIED - ZONE

    London calling
    to the faraway towns
Now war is declared - and battle come down
    London calling to the underworld
The ice age is coming, the sun's zooming in
Meltdown expected, the wheat is growing thin
London is drowning and I, live by the river

The able bodied persons should........ Just because they are able bodied may not necessarily mean that they are of sound mind or of average intelligence. Which makes them inappropriate material for some of the careers that were mentioned. I can still remember being a young man, still at school and having an interview with a careers advisor, and how many of us really knew what we wanted to do with the rest of our life at 14 or 15, I hadn't a clue, doubtless he would have been able to help me if I had, but I didn't.

Germany's way of dealing with it, is unemployment for a year, then after that if you haven't found a job, you then become a *Hartz 4* recipient. It reduces the number of unemployed artificially, as there are always people being put on the Hartz 4 list. If you then find a job, you are back in the system, but only if you are employed for over a year, if not you go straight back on the Hartz 4 list missing being unemployed, as a mate of mine found out, he found a job and was there for 11 months and three week's, when the company went bankrupt.

There I go reading the sign of the time's again, if I didn't have a family I would pack and move on to better pastures.

I have never been unemployed, between jobs yes, for a maximum of 2-3 weeks at the most, then I found something. I just hope that I will always be able to find employment until I reach retirement age, oh that's another point, the German Government have just upped the retirement age from 65 to 67. I will no doubt have to work until my 76th year or die trying, and if I manage to retire, there will be no pension for me as they will have spent all of that what I have paid into the system over the years on silly stuff, and I will then be told that I should have invested in a Riester private pension plan while I was younger (now), which I can't afford to do, we have enjoyed 3% inflation in May. What they don't realise is that longevity is rising every year, and by the time that I'm at retirement age the majority of the electorate will be old age pensioners. It won't be their problem as the coalition new style communist regime will have be long since replaced by something else, did you notice that I didn't say something better???

The hole that they are a digging for themselves is getting harder and harder to get out off with every day.

I just quit smoking due to the restrictive laws on where I was allowed to smoke, I didn't mind the taxation, but when they started to tell me that I couldn't smoke here or there, it was time to say f+'k you. I just upped my longevity some, lol.

They will probably encourage plague and famine or even a war so that they can thin the population out and start from scratch, to correct their mistakes.

Okay end of rant, I think.

    Tony

*The fact that Hartz, who was a senior advisor to a major car maker here in Germany was found guilty of fraud and embezzlement a few years ago, do nothing to instil confidence in the system*.
