Agree, but where is the money going to come from to cover the disaster. Detroit hasn't had a balanced budget in 50 years to the best of my knowledge and a good part of the city is the ruins of used to be a city or open land where the houses used to stand. I guess the rule over the ruins is still rule and that is all they want. She should be very careful, God may give her what she wants and we will truly become a third world country ruled by an elite who are isolated from what they have created.
Perfect response to this ludicrous idea would be to do a drive thru some of Detroit's less savory neighborhoods, and show the resulting dash cam. Yes, folks! You, too, can live in a 3rd world country, right here in the USA!!
Detroit was the first place I ever saw gas station workers behind plexiglass. This was years ago. I've traveled the country and have been to most Democrat utopian cities.
I went to Detroit to check it out on one of my paratrooper buddy wanderings. I saw about 30% abandoned and empty homes. However in a ten house block, it wasn't as severe looking as expected. The dead Zones in Kansas City in the 80s were post-apocalyptic looking to a young Zimmy doing security for 100 square block demolition bids. BTW, architecture is amazing in Detroit with impressive detail abounding in almost every building of any age. Yes, I did take a trip so I could take a selfie outside the Home of UniStrut. Yeah, blue collar on my neck.
