Since there are a couple posts on here about Kel-Tec's I thought I would add this one. This is my primary CC pistol and I have never had any problems with it, also a very accurate pistol for such a small size. Anyone else out there own one of these? Below is a post I made from another board almost one year ago after I bought it:

"I ended up buying one with a chrome finish and think the pistol is GREAT!!! There is a web page called Kel-Tec Owner's Group that has a bunch of interesting info on Kel-Tec pistols. I went to the "Tec Werks" link on that page and did the total "Fluff & Buff" procedure before I fired it. I have fired everything from ball to large hollow points and have not had any failures. This pistol is also very accurate for a 3 inch barrel. I would not recommend it for people that have a problem with heavy recoil, when shooting heavy loads it is about equal to my Glock 29 10mm. I also bought a trigger shoe and the belt clip. With the belt clip attached to the right side, you can carry in your right side pants pocket and cover the weapon with a slightly bulky tee shirt that is not tucked in. I took the mag extension off after trying it because it makes an obvious bulge in your shirt. The only negative is the mag rattles when you start to get it close to full capacity. I did the vise squeeze that they talked about in Tec Werks and that worked up to 8 rounds, so that's what I keep the mags at. Enough for my review, now pay me Kel-Tec, ha ha."

Here is the link to the site I mentioned in the post in case you own one or end up buying one: http://www.ktog.org/

I bought one from a Paun shop... it turned out to be stolen and the cops got it and the shop gave me my $ back.

    That's ok cause it jammed.

I also owned the P40 for awhile...

I now own no Kel Tec's except the P32 I bought right after I turned 21. It has it's place as a 'nongun'

    I prefer the Glock 26...

Agree with you 100% about the Glocks. They are my first choice for a carry pistol. I own 4 of them but have a problem concealing them in the summer time. The KT fits right into my pants pocket with the optional clip and can be concealed with a tee shirt. I have also never had a problem with this pistol and if I ever did it would be fixed or put away. You might want to try the “fluff and buff”(sounds like a porno movie) that I mentioned on the post if you are having feeding problems. I also believe that the 9mm is the minimum gun that you bring to a gunfight, unless you are going for head shots (last resort).

I have a P32 that I abosolutely love. It goes with me everywhere (except for inside work) and most importantly I can hit very well with it. I have also found it to be very reliable. No jams so far. I a know a couple of cops who carry them as their backups. I really like mine. It's like this, that .45 1911 or XD is great, but when it sits at home, in your truck, or anywhere but on you it does no good. Carrying concealed takes forethought. Planning on covering garments, wearing the double thick belt, strapping on the holster, etc. The Keltec P32/.380 takes none. You just put it in your pocket. I can't tell you how many times I have stopped somewhere unexpectedly and just put it in my pocket. Yes, I am not a big fan of the .32, but between the eyes I tend to think it would be pretty effective. The .32 that is with you is better than the .45 you left at the house.

I have played with the P3AT several times while at the local shop. The quality is, in a word: cheesy. Is it concealable? Big time. This little gun is so nice to conceal, I may get one anyway. It would be great for jaunts to the coast where I'm wearing shorts and a tee.

I did get the PF9 though. That gun absolutely rocks. Combined with a DeSantis Nemesis, its a sweet cc in the back jeans pocket.

If all else fails, its back to the old J-frame! [lolol]

I agree with you 100%. Not trying to knock anyone that cc’s anything smaller then 9mm, but that is the smallest I like to have with me (a little extra horsepower). The small KT pistols are great for concealment and the one that I have is as accurate as pistols with a 5” barrel. Not sure if this is the norm since KT’s are not exactly high end pistols.

I agree, it is a lightweight mix of plastic and metal. But.......it is an awesome little gun. I know a lot of people that swear by them and never leave home without it.

Hey I agree, I am am a .45 guy through and through, but there are times when I don't carry because of the inconvienence, lack of forethought, or I am just running in real quick.........then the Keltec slips in so easily. Lighter than my keys, smaller than my wallet.

Definitely a fun little capper. I just wish it had Glock-type quality!

I am not a fan of Keltec's weapons overall, but their P32 and .380 model I am, and I know people that depend upon their life with theirs. Of course if it was built with Glock concepts in mind, it would probably be heavier, and damn sure a whole lot more $$$.

I wanted to go with the Glock 26 but the size, weight and cost (in that order) made me choose the KT. Besides being lighter and smaller, my favorite feature is that a holster is not needed if you have the belt clip attachment.

Not having to strap on that holster is such an advantage.

I had a P-11, and really the only thing I did not like about mine was the trigger. Too long and stiff for my taste. It cycled well, and was fairly accurate, but I am a pretty big guy, so I carry a compact 1911 now. I traded my P-11 for a Cricket .22 for my kids and 4 bricks of ammo.
