I seen this and picked it up for my little girl Im hoping this year to get her to the range and show her what shooting and gun safety. After getting it I thought I would show you guys I think it would also make a good pack gun. This is a picture I pulled off line of what it looks like I picked it up from a guy who bought it new in the 80's it was still under interarms and rossi. It shoots 22 short, 22 long and 22 long rifle. It holds 12 22lr and I picked it up for $150.00. The older ones by interarms and rossi are worth more and I didn't know it until after I bought it. Anyway this little rifle would be perfect size for young shooters or as a pack gun. Plus it comes apart with one screw.
Great gun to start someone out on. Good that you did not get a semi, usually only teaches the spray and pray shooting technique.
