Oh it works. But, You had better file an NFA form along with $200 before you manufacture that. I know, it sounds stupid but I bet that they are guilty of unlawful manufacture of a Class 3, NFA weapon. File it away but don't build it so long as the law and the agency are in place. I did that as a kid.
I NEVER did that with my 10/22 back in my teens. Nope, never tried the old 2 liter bottle trick and never had an ear to ear grin for days. But that was a different time and (almost) a different country. I feel sorry for any teenagers today that also never tried that and get caught. When you get arrested for writing a zombie story at school I cringe to think what would happen with 2 liter projects that are never tried today.
I wasn't sure if we should keep this posted, it shows something"illegal" but so does any murder/"cis" cop show.This ones for the mods to decide perhaps it would be best to delete it(?), I have never shot a subsonic round nor actually ever even seen this trick peformed.. .

Back in the day, my friend from HS and his father started a .22 rifle company (still going, too) call "Davey Crickett", and I made some nice PVC silencers for the rifles as we practiced firing them from the old shop. I even made a fully functional aluminum silencer before, and it worked splendidly. They have long since been tossed in the garbage, but the memories remain... Yeah, I can easily make silencers for my weapons. And, I will once again some day, too.
