Interesting guns. 3 Barrels in many combinations. Pretty Cool. Link at bottom.

    30-06 or 308 and 12, 16, 20 guage
    22 Hornet and 28 guage

I'd think pretty useful in a survival hunting situation. They'd be good for whatever you might run into from quail to deer.

Nice guns but a little rich for my blood. You can get H&R and Rossi combination guns, yes you do have to change the barrels but you save about 9,000 to 10,000 dollars. It just depends how deep your pockets are [dunno]

I know some of the older Savages are still available and think they are makeing new ones also that are over and under combo guns in all different configurations of shotgun under a rifle. I used to have one in .410 and .22 that I loved and have seen them in 20 ga and 30-30 as well as others.

If I wanted or could afford a combo like this, I would go as cheap as possible. I would also go with the .20 gauge/30-30. They are nice though.

H&R has a new line of three barrel things. I hate to call them "drillings" like they used to be named by the Europeans, but close enough. See the latest issue of G&A for website, I don't have it handy. Sure, muti purpose but the weight puts me off.
