well; this is causing a volatile reaction( in the comments section): Issuing SSi payments on a debitcard: http://www.infowars.com/?p=2626 While I agree 1)It is another baby step towards a completely cashless society. However: The gov WILL inevitably save bux not buying paper, and printing, and stuffing and delivering paper checks. I use a debit card seemingly every day... 2) After the cards get worn out or lost the next step WILL be an injected verichip ( you won't have to carry it or ever lose it ).And then the gov "will save replacement costs". and the evil will be complete then they really got you by the 'nads.... But whether they "turn off your chip", "cancel your card", or just "tag your file ineligible for benefits" it amounts to the exact same thing.EXCEPTING THE CHIP CAN BE PUT TO OTHER NEFARIOUS USES(i.e.tracking and logging)!! "Advances" in biometrics and the massive file system needed (for either biometrics or national id makes the chip argument almost redundant)..
Yah I was an Idiot in my middle 20's and I've got about a dozen more tattoo's than I'd like to have right now. It's funny how you think your just being cool! Now I have to wear long sleeve shirts in 100 degree heat just to go to a business meeting (sucks both arms covered with them)!
I always wanted a tattoo or ten, but as a young soldier had a troop Sgt who had loads, and he educated me in the reasons why I should keep myself away from them, cheers. The in body chips and bar code tattoos for ID and other purposes is not new... Tony
