12 days of Christmas, monkey style --

    12 10 round mags
    11 yards of camo
    10 bricks of ammo
    9 packs of patches
    8 rounds of buckshot
    7 thousand primers
    6 pounds of powder
    5 A-K kits
    4 fresh shot turkeys
    3 M1 carbines
    2 venison backstraps
    And a Fulton M fourteen

Here's one I wrote a few years ago (when PGE was our electric company) to the tune of "Let it Snow":

Well we're drivin' on by the lights now
Christmastime is such a sight now
    and for all the 'lectricity
    PGE PGE PGE

    CHORUS
When the metermaid makes her rounds
she will be happy to find
that the meter ain't slowin' down
    'til the end of Christmastime

Oh we're drivin' on by the lights now
Christmastime is such a sight now
    and for all the 'lectricity
    PGE PGE PGE

Now EVERYBODY sing (to the tune of Jingle Bells):

    Dashing through the isles
    of a great outdoorsman store
    fill your bug out bag
    with a little more...

    You've got your Valkman knife
    and your trusted twenty-two
a plastic can for extra fuel
and a full first aid kit, too.

    Sur-vi-val Monkey-land
    it's the place to be
    where you can have discussions
on just how prepared to be
    OH
    Sur-vi-val Monkey-land
    learning's what we do
so that you'll always be prepared
when the fan starts blowing poo.

    Remember: ghrit started it

    Hmmm... that's odd... I can't hear you ;).

To the tune of "Frosty the Snowman":

    Monkey survivors
    are a jolly happy crew,
    because they're not scared,
    yes, they're all prepared
and they know just what to do.

    Monkey survivors
are all gloom and doom they say,
    but the good Scouts know
    everywhere you go
    Be Prepared for every day!

When you go down the streets of town
    well this is what you'll see;
all the sheeple standing in long lines
for the food they get for free.

    But Monkey survivors
they just smile and walk on by,
    because like the ants
    while they had the chance
    they replenished their supply.

    Monkey survivors
do their best to be prepared
-- be it flood or storm
    (life beyond the norm) --
    try to live life unimpaired.
    :)

Chipmunks Roasting on an Open Fire
WARNING: NOT PETA friendly + a small part where (I thought) slave-type dialect was unnecessary (but those are short and don't override the funny song)

I like the PGE song - I've got 29 years with them! Of course I also like the reference to a Valkman knife in the other song. :)

It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, "Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu."

"Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" said Rosita.

"Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.

"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." replied Rosita.

"Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me."

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu."

Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....

"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year."

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I just love this thread! Thanks, g!

Carol of the Shells (to the tune from Carol of the Bells)
    ~giggle~

    Hark how the shells
    Sweet brassy shells
    All seem to say
    Blow cares away

    Targets are there
    In your cross hair
    Trigger slightly squeeze
    Fire when you please

    Oh how they pound
    Raising the sound
    O'er hill and dale
    Telling your tale

    Now your ears ring
    While bullets sing
    Straight through the air
    Target hit suare

    Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta target practice
    Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta target practice
    On, on they send
    On 'til the end
Now hit the gong, it's farther on
    Ding dong ding dong. Gong.
