    Feels good too! [beer]

My arthritis is so bad in my feet and ankles that shooting rifles just doesn't happen anymore, and just going out across the road on BLM land and doing some shooting rarely happens. I have all these rifles that just sit, and handguns too, all safe queens except for a few .45's laying about.

Well, my wife's daughter and her husband (both around 30) have helped us quite a bit and he was talking about getting an AR carbine and a bunch of accessories. I love my Colt 6720 carbine and ain't giving that one up anytime soon but I showed him my Carbon 15 AR pistol and my Colt HBAR Match Target Competition and told him he could have one. He chose the rifle, predictably, as it has a Harris Bipod and $700 scope on it. He was going nuts playing with it and I gave him a hard case for it besides some 30 rd mags and ammo. They slept in their RV last night behind our house and when he got up he said he thought it was all a dream until he saw the case sitting there!

He is one happy camper! I told him there's more I'll give him IF:

    1) He gets a safe installed and bolted down

    2) Joins the NRA

It works out well as he will use them and there's no hassle with transfers or going through dealers.

No, I'm not looking for more son-in-laws. [lolol]

Melbo, we have the same problem and that's what they're helping us with. Or trying to anyway.

Good move Don. No doubt you now have a life long shooting partner. I have bought ammo +rifles or handguns for two of my brother-in-laws, and my father-in-law. Having another citizen get into the sport, and learning about protecting the 2nd Amendment is going to be the only way to keep our rights. My nieces and nephews are next.

Plus, it gives me another three houses with a little additional security if I have to bug out. [clp]

Wow, I guess what goes around does come around! I gave the gun up over the weekend and today get a call from Blade Magazine wanting to put one of my knives in their next issue! Sweet!

To me it's so neat for all the people who got early knives of mine, and that includes a bunch of Monkeys!

That's what I was thinking, too. That I'd put that issue right next to the knife in the safe. :)

That's pretty cool about the knife, Don. I won't give away a rifle but I'll send some bullets if they'll send them down-range towards a few folks on a list?

I think that's called "accessory to murder" lol. Still it would be nice. :)
