I could see how it would go at my house. The cops would look at the seriously dead bodies, count the spent cases and shells laying all over the floor. The cop says, "are all these empties yours?" My response, "no officer, they fired the first shots and maybe a few more, I was in fear for my life and my family members lives. The first 37 rounds were what I had available with my holstered 9mm, and when it ran dry I grabbed my shotgun and emptied it, safed and secured the immediate area, then grabbed my 308 semi auto and exited the rear of the house and circled around and held their getaway driver at gunpoint until you arrived 22 minutes later.
22 Minutes ? They must have already been in the neighborhood... This is one time ( and only one time ) that I might agree with Joe Biden.. I keep the 12 GA by the door.. -- I still have either my .45 or .357 on me as well, but the intruder would get a couple of 3" - 00 buck shells first. Nicely done PSA though.. According to various web pages, there are over 8000 home invasions EVERY DAY in North America..
