I got one and am mightily impressed, but first off here's a few pictures. I bought it after dissing it to someone who had one and he set me right on a few points. So I got it and am having fun, contrary to the info saying that you have to use HV (high velocity) ammo, it works very well with standard .22lr ammo, well at least mine does. In the meantime it has new got a Bushnell pro point on it and I have ordered the first accessory packet of more mag's. It is addictive to shoot, and at 50m I get some nice group's. Tony
Can't have one (in that configuration) here without tax as an SBR, if I understand all I think I know. Do you have similar restrictions? Looks like might be a fun gun. Show us some groups, please.

Jsut watch out cause people are starting to have issues with them such a cracked bolts etc and the exclusive importer is not keeping up in the customer service department
The only target that I have saved to date is the first one that I shot with different types of .22 ammo HV and standard at different ranges 50m, 75m & 100m using the iron sights, at 50m the sights were on, at 75m I had to hold over, and at 100m it was 12" to keep them in the black. Tony
Seen that thread, and as I judged it to be wakening the dead, and sort of all of the reports had been done by people who write things like that up for a living. I have now done over 500 with it, having to strip clean it once last night due to it malfunctioning, the chamber was full of gunk the .22 ammo has a wax type coating old RWS target ammo of the standard velocity type and lead deposit. I cleaned it last night and it threw 100 rounds down range at the target without any flaws, this morning. I have now zeroed the iron sights to 50m and have check fired it at 75 & 100m, the group's opened up some and at 100m were a little low but still on the paper. Then it was time for the red dot, which was zeroed in in no time and although it isn't and never will be a tack driver, it is a hell of a lot of fun to shoot. As to the Sig mosquito, that's the next weapon on my wish list.. Tony
It sounds like you will have a very, very nice set of .22's once you pick up the Mosquito. I am still tempted by the GSG-5, I may have to end up picking one up. Right now, I am not planning on buying anything else until my Mosquito and Tac-65 are purchased (with accompanying $200 stamp), but plans change. I picked up a .17 Savage for my Stepdad for Father's Day. He passed away last night from lung cancer, but he sure was proud of that .17 and I am really glad that he was able to run a couple of mags through it before he passed. Thanks again for the range report, I really like to be able to hear about how a firearm works from a real shooter, instead of just a reporter not wanting to upset an advertiser.
Sorry to hear about your loss, and am glad to hear that he got a buzz out of the rifle you gave him. I always have a laugh watching the old men here in Germany on the range, shooting their Mauser K98's. I have a Hamerli E-xxese and a 10/22, now this and the Sig for IPSC cheap practice time on the range. I have reduced my large calibre shooting to the minimum until my wages double or reality catches up with us, and I'll be needing it for SHTF. Be good. Tony
I looked at one at KCR. Would be fun. But I was thinking more along the lines of a Ciener conversion for full sized 1919's. Now that would be cool.
don't think a .22 conversion will work in a .30 caliber 1919A4. The link advance would have to be replaced, the barrel and chamber lined, and the .22 doesn't have enough pop to work the bolt so a whole new drop-in system would have to be designed; hmmm...I got a 1919A4 that I hardly ever shoot.
Just wishful thinking. If these ammo prices keep going up .22 will be all we can afford to shoot. I converted a 1919 to 7.62X54R, might buy a conversion for 7.62X39 too. Cheaper than .308 or .06.

Just thought that you'd all be interested in how I'm getting on with my GSG5. This was the target that I shot at my local range at 50m, I now have a Bushnell Trophy Dot mounted. The zeroing was done in less than 10 shot's then a box of 50 to confirm zeroing and then another 10 for fun. A fun gun to shoot, now I'm looking for a cheapo scope to have a look how that works. Tony
Hm. Not too sure your are doing all that well. 46 holes out of 70 shots -- Glad it is working well. Might have to look into it a bit further --
