I read that report too! Crazy repercussions and unforeseen consequence of open borders! Whats Next? While everyone is looking at the State Run Media Reports and Sympathizing with the "Poor Children" this is just the beginning!
I tend to take a different approach, if they're here, why the hell not? I'd rather they learn to read and write in English and get the proper corporate training than to have to keep pressing 1 for English.
Well for one reason, do they meet the requirments? A 3o year old man or woman does not belong in a High School setting. I had to provide proof of a shot record for my "Kids", why not the same and if not then go get those shots before you enroll.
Classes are over crowded now, with not enough teachers and classrooms to go around. Why should my kids be forced to do with less, because of illegals? No. Send them home. Just drop them on the southern border, and let mexico deal with them (after all, they let them that far). Close that border down tight, and send ALL illegals home, no exceptions. Go through the proper channels, or beat it bum.
Granted I don't have kids, but if I did I don't think I'd want my teenage daughters going to high school with 30+ year old men.
They can't ask or verify age because of a "directive" from the DOJ? A directive is not a law nor a regulation. Just quietly ignore it. The DOJ may be unhappy, but if they haven't lost face (which could be easy to do here) they might just quietly go away themselves. Or they might make lots of noise and threats but so what? Ultimately they could attempt a federal suit enjoining a school system but that is about all the DOJ could do directly by themselves. They could try and shut off federal funds thru the DOE but most of those flow thru the state first so that wouldn't be easy. An aggressive PR compaign would likely defeat that "directive" in the court of public opinion resulting in reelection of the mayor and school board. It seems the worst that happens is they end up loosing in federal court, come home with an injunction and they are simply right back where they are now. I am probably forgetting/missing something but with the exception of legal fees, it's not obvious there is much downside to a town/school system simply ignoring Holder and his thugs. AT
I think public schools are nothing more than indoctrination to begin with. I would not send my children to a public school, so I really don't care how old the "students" are.
Oh I don't know, I taught my kids what to expect in and of the public school system. I also taught them such mundane things as Multiplication Tables and how to read an analogue clock as well as a sextant. After all you need to know your enemy and not be naive about the system you will live in.
My 12 year old attends public school and tells us some of the Crap their trying to shove down her throat! The good thing is she recognizes the Crap from the bread on the S*&T Sandwich, that's a testimony to her parents!
But it is our Tax dollars paying for this..... and that is a big problem, denying the other kids those funds, to pay for their quality indoctrination.....!!
