HI, I am wondering if you all bought your seeds from a "survival seed bank" kind of source? or just from a regular seed company. If they are stored properly I cant see the need to buy something more expensive just because it is marketed a certain way. Where do you get your seeds from?
    thanks

I buy mine from Burpee and from Territorial Seed here in Oregon. I also recommend Baker Creek, but I have not ordered from them, yet.

Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds - 1400 heirloom garden seeds!

Baker Creek was amazingly started by a homeschooler when he was still a teenager and has grown by leaps and bounds since. He specializes in rare and heirloom seeds. None are GM at all. If anything, I would read the amazing story about how this company got started. I found out about them through Countryside and Small Stock Journal, one of my favorite magazines.

Oops! I have never bought what you might consider BULK, but I don't see why they wouldn't have them.

Southern States Coop ( Southern States Cooperative - Farmer owned since 1923. ) sells seeds in 1/2#, 1 #, and some 5# a lot are hybrid but they have some open pollinated or heirloom. Around here some of the hardware stores sell in bulk you just have to know what varieties are heirloom.

Hit up EBAY folks. Far cheaper and less on shipping. Caveat Emptor. My wife and I scored 275,000 seed vault (Non-Hybrid, Heirloom varieties) for just shy of 59.00 FRNs including shipping.
