This is a pretty radical idea for most to even think about let alone to support. What was the percentage of people that supported and then fought in the American revolution? Poll: 29% of Registered Voters Believe Armed Revolution Might Be Necessary in Next Few Years | CNS News Mobile
American Revolution it was pretty much split in thirds. One third for the rebels, one third for the crown, and one third just wanted to get out of their way. That's just who supported either side, actively fighting was a fraction of each. I trust this poll as much as I trust any though, which isn't much. Thanks to another poll you can't debate gun control without hearing what "90% of the population wants".
I thought it was a probably even a smaller percentage that supported revolution. I agree totally about most polls. It depends on whose poll and how the questions are framed. That 90% thing just makes me bitter I'm afraid. Those folks need to have their mouths washed out with soap and be sat in a corner.
Point 1) You can prove anything with sufficient variables and a sharp enough pencil. Point 2) 64% of all statistics are made up on the spot. Point 3) 5 out of 4 people will question Point 2.
Couldn't read the linked article on my phone but after checking this out at home I found a rather interesting excerpt; Add 'em up and you get 89% I hafta say, this explains a lot about the ammo shortage and puts the recent shortages of first aid supplies , medical equipment and long term storage foods into perspective as well. Anybody hear gunfire yet ?
