Can a Kanar M79 receiver be safely printed? Would it actually be safe to fire? I have been trying for years to find a stripped receiver to complete my build but the few I've found are prohibitively expensive.

3D printing is possible, but it comes down to HOW and the materials needed to properly do this job. Then there is the issue with the printer it's self, cost prohibitive would be the rule here, unless your printing at a volume to offset the cost it's just not practical. finally, material, you gotta be able to print in the same or like material for strength and durability! If you thinking Plastic, NOPE, don't even bother!
